Martin Kotrulev, PhD Student in Molecular Medicine
m.kotrulev@usc.es
I completed a BSc in Biomedical Engineering at the University Rey Juan Carlos in 2020, where the biological world captured my attention and motivated me to pursue my MSc on Biomaterials. In 2021, I graduated from a MSc in Biomaterials at the University Complutense of Madrid. In my master's thesis I got even closer to the fields of cell and molecular biology, introducing myself into tissue culture techniques and reinforcing my interest on the interaction between exogenous materials and the human body.
Now, I find myself doing a PhD at the CiMUS (USC), working on developing new drugs for the treatment of
rheumatoid arthritis and genuinely interested in the interaction between small chemicals and the immune system
