MOBILE GENOMES

'We investigate the patterns and mechanisms of genomic variation in disease'

Noelia Fernandez Vazquez, BSc student

I have always been interested in genetics but when I heard about transposable elements, I felt that I wanted to know more about that field. Later, I met this group and it gave me a great opportunity as it allows me to study what I love. Also, when I have some free time I do as many online courses as face-to-face ones that are offered by the univesity on that topic. In my spare time I also like reading and traveling in good company to different places, especially to places that are imbued with history.
